| Tony Hudson chairman of E.F.S.A along with members of Bisley sea angling club enjoyed a good days wreck fishing aboard Rocket 12/7/2008.Seventy plus good size cod were kept and many smaller fish returned.Also congers (30-40lbs and several pollack in double figures provided sport for all aboard.I look forward to seeing you all in August.Trevor Small | |

| Go to the events page of this website if you want to see the allocation of teams to boats, for the above species hunt, which is scheduled to take place on Friday the 6th of June 2008. The draw took place at 19:10 hours in the Marina Club, in an open forum for anyone to observe and if necessary question/ challenge the process. | |

| I keep hearing talk of a cod ban which is in effect now and possibly until the end of the year. Yet having searched various authority websites and government organisations, I can find no evidence of any offical ban; I can find many articals saying there should be such a ban but so far they all appear to have been rejected. Can anyone confirm that there is such a ban and where/ what is its official source? Thanks | |

| As you may know the Fladen Fishing Poole Species Hunt is comming up soon. JUNE 6th........................... With a final entery date set for the 31st March(entry forms available under Events). For those of you who have not enterd before The comp is fished in teams of four. Two teams per boat. The cost this year is £200 per team with prizes of £1200,£800 and £400 for 1st,2nd and 3rd place plus the usual £1000+ Tackel table. The idea of the comp is to catch as many types of fish as you can to win the cash.All are welcome so get your team together download the enty form from Events section and then just Fish. | |
