From her home port of Poole, Jo-Jo fishes marks, banks, wrecks or reefs up to six miles offshore, between St Aldhelm's Head and Christchurch, subject to the weather conditions and preferences of the guests.
Typically over the course of a year we mainly fish for Bream, Bass, Cod, Conger, Flatties, Mackerel, Tope, Skate and Smoothounds
Jo-Jo is licensed and insured for up to 9 anglers operating under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) code of practice for charter boats.
She has a 4ft central cutting table, comfortably seats all of her passengers, on padded seats, she has padded gunwales, to help protect your legs and she has toilet.
Tea and coffee are provided along with an oven to warm-up your soups & pies.
With Jo-Jo you get not one but two skippers; Dave and Phil are both RYA accredited Skippers and Co-Owners of Jo-Jo, both are members of the Poole and District Fisherman's Association and the Poole Chartered Skippers Association.
Jo-Jo was designed and built by Greenslades of Poole in 1973, to be Poole's first pilot boat. Dave & Phil completely restored Jo-Jo, to operate as a charter boat for inshore Sea Angling; she is licensed and insured for 11 persons and operates under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) code of practice for charter boats.
