Generally speaking the PCSA skippers use one or other of the following pick-up points:

Fishermans Dock
Customs House
Swanage Pier

Always check with your skipper to confirm the pick-up point and time.

Fishermans Dock

Fishermans Dock is directly opposite the Thistle Hotel Poole (see photo); this is a convenient location as there is a loading bay for cars to offload any heavy gear and the steps down to the boats are solid making the job of loading boats relatively safe and easy.

You can park in the Thistle Hotel's car park, which is opposite Fishermans Dock; alternatively there is a multi-storey car park in Orchard Street.

Customs House

The Customs House steps are directly opposite the Customs House pub (see photo), which is a convenient location; again the steps are solid making loading and boarding relatively straight forward and safe.

Swanage Pier

Mary Jo and Sidewinder both operate from the lower boat deck of Swanage Pier. The lower boat deck is on the left hand side of the pier, approximately 100metres past the dive shop. Parking is on the pier or if full, there is a large public car park adjacent to the pier.
